I got another furnace replacement estimate. This one was a more professional outfit than the first place, and they said what I was worried about: I need a dedicated electrical line, and I don't have space in my breaker box for that, which means the whole electrical system has to be redone as well as getting a new furnace.
Sooooo that might not happen this year.
