Apr. 18th, 2018 07:12 pmMy unexpected double somersault over the handlebars last week appears to have irritated my back, specifically a disc that disapproved of me breaking both the adjacent vertebrae in that stupid car crash.
So the thing about sciatica-like problems, at least for me, is that they don't hurt any more if I go out and ride my bike and do all the other stuff I do. But because I hurt, I'm less motivated to go do things.
This is why it's good that I have external motivation: a whole succession of coworkers who wander into my office just before noon and try to talk me into going out riding.
I'm a sucker for peer pressure.
We saw a bald eagle again. Totally worth going out for.
