Today I took Monty to the vet at 745, for breast cancer surgery. Then I came home and cleaned nervously and machined things nervously.
I picked her up at 1430, and she's fine.

Vet says it appeared to be an isolated, loose tumor, her x-rays are clean, and he thinks she'll be fine. We get more blood test results on Tuesday.
One of the things I did while waiting to go pick her up is set the mill up in a weird way. I tilted the head off to one side and put some aluminum in a chuck on the bed, so I could rotate the chuck (by hand) while the mill spindle rotated and cut a circular track into the aluminum.

This is one of the weirder ways to make compound curves in metal.
